Mano Bank, Lithuania’s first specialized bank, has signed its third strategic agreement with Raisin, the leading pan-European savings and investment marketplace. As of June 13, Dutch savers can benefit from Mano Bank’s rates of up to 3,61%, among the highest in the market.

This partnership comes at a time when Dutch savers are increasingly looking for reliable banking options that offer both security and competitive returns. Lithuania, as a part of a highly rated regulatory environment ensuring deposit insurance coverage up to €100,000, presents an attractive option for Dutch customers seeking secure banking solutions.

“Partnering with Raisin enables Mano Bank to extend our secure and high-interest savings products to Dutch consumers. This collaboration ensures the highest risk management and regulatory compliance standards, providing Dutch savers with competitive rates and the peace of mind that their deposits are protected,” said Giedrė Blazgienė, CEO of Mano Bank.

Dutch depositors have shown a preference for high-credit-rating countries when choosing where to place their savings, and Lithuania having an A rating, with its strong fiscal discipline and low debt-to-GDP ratio, stands out as a stable and attractive option. The Dutch savings market, valued at €576 billion as of 2023, reflects a potential for growth and innovation through such partnerships.

“The collaboration with Mano Bank contributes to our mission to create a unified European market for savings and investments,” said Tamaz Georgadze, CEO of Raisin. “It broadens the options available to Dutch savers but also fosters the growth of Lithuanian SMEs, driving economic development in the region.”

With the collaboration beginning in September 2021 with Germany and Spain, Mano Bank has already seen growth in deposits through the Raisin platform. Mostly these are large deposits made in Mano Bank with the amounts of €90,000-100,000. By age, the most active are 60-69 years old, while persons under 29 practically do not use this opportunity.
