Mano Bank has reinforced its Board with two new members
Upon receipt of the permit of the Bank of Lithuania, two new members joined the Board of Mano Bank – Mrs Giedrė Blazgienė, current CEO of the bank, and Mr Andrius Popovas, CRO. New members were appointed in order to reinforce even more the bank’s management and control of risks.
“The appointment of new members has the purpose to grant the opportunity to the bank’s Board to make the necessary decision expeditiously and to reinforce supervision of risks that is our priority, – says Chair of the Board of Mano Bank, Mr Vytautas Olšauskas. – It is important to implement the changes quickly in the constantly changing business environment, as well as to assess and control all the arising risks.”
Giedrė Blazgienė started working as a CEO of Mano Bank a little earlier than one year ago. She was appointed to this office in consideration to her successful work experience in the financial sector and input into development of retail banking. G. Blazgienė is responsible for implementation of business strategy in Mano Bank and is focused on improvement of customer experience, expansion of new services, qualitative risk management and sustainable growth.
Andrius Popovas has been managing risks in various positions at Mano Bank since 2019. His total work experience in the financial sector amounts to 6 years, where 4 years were spent in managing positions.
The total number of the Board members of Mano Bank is 5: Chair Vytautas Olšauskas, as well as Vytautas Jonas Lapienis, Aurimas Putna and newly appointed Giedrė Blazgienė and Andrius Popovas.
