Giedrė Blazgienė has been appointed to head Mano bankas, Lithuania’s first specialised bank. Following the approval of the Bank of Lithuania, G. Blazgienė became CEO of Mano bankas and will be in charge of the implementation of its business strategy. She plans to prioritize the improvement of customer experience, developing new services, quality risk management, and sustainable growth.

“As the Bank expands fast and the number of clients grows, it is critical that we constantly improve the customer experience and guarantee balanced and sustainable growth. We believe that Giedrė, with her extensive expertise in customer service, is the right person to help accomplish our goals“, says Vytautas Olšauskas, Chairman of the Board of Mano bankas.

Before joining Mano Bankas, G. Blazgienė worked at Luminor Bankas for three years and a half, most lately as the Head of retail banking in Lithuania. During this time, the bank went through one of the most significant transitions in the Baltic States, giving invaluable expertise in change management. G. Blazgienė was formerly the Head of Customer Service at Vilniaus Vandenys, where she was in charge of product development, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

The new CEO of Mano Bankas replaces Povilas Sadaunykas as the CEO.

“Povilas established a strong and devoted staff, enhanced the bank’s business procedures, and provided a solid platform for the bank’s next phase of growth. The bank has built a coherent internal culture under his leadership, which has contributed to rapid expansion and outstanding performance“, says V. Olšauskas. “We genuinely wish Povilas well in his future endeavors.“

Mano bankas indicated in early August this year that the company’s income will treble in the first half of 2022. AB Mano bankas assets climbed by 2.5% to EUR 162.9 million in the first half of this year, representing a 78% growth over the same period last year. The loan portfolio increased by 70% to EUR 76.8 million in the first quarter of 2021. The bank’s gross operating revenue increased 41% to EUR 3.2 million in the first half of 2022, while unaudited profit reached 101% to EUR 761 thousand. The successful development was the driving force behind the rapid expansion.
